Introduction
Curt and his brothers do some wicked work. Not only is their gear light, cool looking and functional but it is also priced way lower then any of its competitors. Curt has thought of every detail when designing his equipment and it shows. The Mirus head is beautiful and the Origo on/off button, Impero follow focus, Inclino motors will all be a huge asset to any camera package. View Factor provides quality, functional design at a great price.

This head is going to make as big of waves in the motion control head waters as Red has to cameras. It is the only self contained motion control pan-tilt head from any company. This gives the Mirus nearly boundless creative options. It’s an excellent product at a low price.

I was lucky enough to be on reduser when Curt began kicking around the development of this button on a thread. A few redusers added a lot of input that helped in making this product as good as it is. The beeps from this unit when turning the camera on and off are invaluable on their own. This button will be living on my camera 24/7 and I will be getting both long and short cables for it. Origo is a highly needed piece of gear for any camera package.

I can’t wait to get my hands on these motors. I have worked with all the remote follow focus motors on the market and these may just be better than all of them. They have competitive features and specs to all the others with the huge advantage of a receiver box not being needed. This saves a bunch of overall weight. I just don’t get how Curt managed to get all the incredible features and specs of much more expensive motor/receiver options into the small Inclino. Really I don’t care though because all I know is I want them.

This remote follow focus looked great at NAB. Curt is improving it by making it a little larger (closer to more of a standard ARRI size). The remote has great features like:
-battery powered replaceable 9V
-variable gearing that allows for infinite amount of adjustability
-reversible motor direction (great for still lenses)
-record start/stop
-mountable on or off the bars with the included mounting bracket
-switch between focus, zoom, and iris with a press of the button
-two position memory for automatic rack focus with custom speed/easing
-wireless transceiver or run in a wired configuration
I am confident this remote follow focus system will take the market by storm. When you can get a remote follow focus system for thousands cheaper then a standard follow focus the choice is a no brainer!
